I am new to headphones, as I am about to get an HD6xx, I need an amp+dac, I do own sr15 but it is not going to drive HD6xx. I was thinking to buy an AMP & DAC for hd6xx. but I have no idea to get a combo or get a dac + amp stack or get a amp with my SR15.... I have done some research, my option is l30+e30 SMSL m500, IFI zen signature, jds atom +JDS DAC+

L30+e30& SMSL is kind of easy to get for me, l30+e30 also have a lot of good reviews, but some user reports their l30 burn their headphone, it is kind of scare me away, the IFI zen signature is of out stock now, for atom also a lot of good reviews but not sure if the sound is a match for 6xx
Also have a airpluse a100 want to use the dac
Any suggestion for me ?

Check out the Schiit Magnius, which will need a 2.5mm-to-dual-3-pin-xlr cable for your SR15 to connect to the back of the magnius and 2.5mm-to-HD6xx cable for your HD6xx/SR15 combo and 2.5mm-to-4-pin-xlr adapter to connect to the front of the magnius:

Better yet, just get the 2.5mm-to-HD6xx cable on drop and see if you even need a separate amplifier or not. Just check your SR15 manual to see how to set the internal amp to high gain.

I am using the SR15 line out to my iFi Zen Can for my HD600. Not too bad.

sr15 didnt have high gain , and I don't think sr15 is able to drive 6xx full potential, so a AMP is needed...
i think I will have a look for Schiit Magnius first and then compare to the others
