So i ordered mt first headphones and amp today. ATH-M50s and Garys amp PA2V2. ill let you know what I think. I have always loved and enjoyed my home stereo equipment (RBH) but now with kids its been hard to listen at a nice level of volume... soooo this is the temporary solution to my acoustic cravings.
 
lets see how this first purchase goes.

I can understand the kids and loudspeaker scenario as it has landed me more on this forum with an ongoing collection of headphones. Congrats on the purchase.
