I just checked the prices on those and 200$ Canadian or more seems like alot. This seems like the perfect money/performance choice. Plus wouldn't that card be overkill for my humble sr80's?

It is very hard to find Grado in Canada so I have never heard from the SR80, I can't see it being overkill, but I can see you buy better headphones later

It is a very nice card, I had it, I ran it to my HD555 and it was soothing but I didn't like it being a PCI-E so I returned it. When the PCI version comes out I'll get one again.

That's why I got my grado's from here in the for sale and trade section. They can be found easily in Toronto just at a huge markup. I think I'll stick this sonar. I could always sell it and but something better just like with my headphones.
