So I just recently purchased a pair of hd 650's and have been enjoying them, but I am aware that I need an amp and most likely a dac as well. I have been looking into the JDS Labs o2 + odac combination and am leaning very strongly towards purchasing that. The problem I am running in to is what gain level I should get on the amp. JDS offers the option of Medium (1x-3.5x), Standard (2.5x-6.5x), and Low (1x - 2.5x). Which of those settings would drive the HD 650s the best? Thank you very much

I'm sure thats a good product but it's not really what I'm interested in. I'm more concerned about what gain level I need to drive my headphones

Ask JDS Labs. I'm certain that they are more familiar with the HD650s.
