Hi guys!
I discovered head-fi by accident and I'm now determined to upgrade my audio setup for a better music listening experience.
What I have now: iMac line out > Logitech Z-2300 2.1 speakers.
What I want: iMac USB > DAC > AMP > Beyerdynamic DT880 (250 or 600 ohms)
I do not intend to select audio output under Mac preferences all the time. Is there any amp that will have a headphone jack and line-out so I can connect my humble logitech speakers?
I've been looking at Fiio E7 + E9 combo. Here's what I intend to do:
iMac USB > E7 + E9 > DT880 (headphone jack) & Logitech (line-out of E9)
Many said this amp isn't ideal for DT880. What do you think? I'm leaning towards a 600ohm version because of recommendations.
Please share with me your opinions.
Sorry for bad English but I hope you understand me.
Thank you very much!
