I like the looks of the new SRM-252A driver unit that replaces the SRM-212 model. must be the shiny metal faceplate. otherwise the earspeakers are the same SR-202 from the SRS-2020 system.

also, they've replaced the SRS-005 system with the SRS-005A, keeping the SR-003 earspeakers and using the new driver unit as the SRS-2020.

MSRP for the 2050A is 49350 yen and the 005A MSRP is 40950 yen.

the main difference between the SRM-212 and the SRM-252A seems to be an increase of the frequency range to 35kHz (from 20kHz in the 212) supposedly to complement the new generation media such as SACD's and DVD-A's, along with various internal component upgrades, an aluminum front plate and a stronger case. in addition, they've added a loop out to the design.
