Good pick Gopher, that would be my choice as well, the JD 100. I really like my nOrh CD1 (a tube CD player like the Jolida), it seems to give CDs a more organic/natural quality. Plus you can tweak the sound via tuberolling.

I hope you post your experiences with the JD 100. I for one am very interested.
