Actually, you better make sure that the soundcard is at least a good transport. The stock X-Fi fatality I have SUCKS as a transport and will be replaced soonish.

Good question. I plan to install it tomorrow, but work on the house may not permit such. I'll certainly keep you posted. I've heard people notice that apps like Foobar drops the Asio settings for it on reboots, so maybe I'll play around with that eventually.

I was actually thinking the same thing, first make sure that your source is the best possible (for your budget offcourse, as we can go far on this forum xD).
