So two questions from my side.

How good is the battery life. (Not talking about Bluetooth) I'm using cable in ears or normal headphones.

A good source to buy the japanese version.(Best without VAD) Don't want to deal with reduced noise levels.

Eh?? Really??? I'd love it if it were so! Recent Sony offerings (e.g. the A105) couldn't manage gapless via Sony's default app.

True gapless playback has become rare in recent years. Even some new CD players no longer recognize gapless playback, despite the fact that such functionality has long been part of the CD's specifications.

I assumed it behaved the same as WM1AM2. I'm so sorry. I should have mentioned I haven't tried the A306. That's preposterous that it wouldn't have gapless. As preposterous as an unannounced volume cap?

I have a question. Is there any "safely remove" way to disconnect the A306 from PC? I couldn't find the eject button on Windows 11

I am using this DAP mainly with streaming services, for some reason, the spotify homescreen widget is just not showing up. Have the latest firmware, and all the notification is enable. Anyone has this problem? My M11 Plus works fine.

Exactly! Mine is just not showing as option to add. I have the blue japanese version though. Tried uninstall / reinstall nothing works.

Unfortunately not on mine, even did a factory reset and reinstall only Spotify, but nope.

In my view it should sound near same and does for me. Both UAPP & Walkman are bit perfect so should be I'd have thought. Never had any atrac format music. You can't use any Sony Sound tweaks with UAPP though. I just use Walkman music as best for battery life & I like interface anyway. Just not got around to uninstalling UAPP yet.

My biggest bit of advice for making all apps easier to use is to set 'Display Size' in the Android settings to 'Small,' because otherwise you can't even read the full track/artist information in most music apps. I also think enabling gesture navigation is essential, it has made navigating the device more modern and also frees up more display space.
