It has been discussed multiple times in this and the NW-A105 thread. It shows incorrect information depending on the configuration. Nonetheless, the output is always limited to 48/16 (verified with system logs and audioflinger information)

I think you guys misunderstand MQA

MQA is 44.1 and 48 only

The techniques to unfold it will bring it to higher rate such as 94khz or 192khz

So, my question remain....what services can stream higher than 44.1 or 48 into your player ?

The question is there because if 48 is the limit and while MQA also limited at that 48. Then what is the concern ? Tidal

So, does Quoobus or AmazonHD stream higher than 48?

This is an “Ultra HD” as AmazonHD puts it

But what I am seeing 24/44.1

This is IPhone 11 Pro

Device capability is only 24/48 Max.

I see! Shouldn’t that be android fault? I know Ibasso was similar until recent firmwares

If so, Sony new firmware will make it happen
Android is part fo the problem. Native hi-res is not currently supported. The DAP players choose to either ignore it (blame Android) or work around the limitations in their firmware or apps. So far Sony has chosen to only support hi-res in their own app but does not support hi-res for any of the streaming apps. Maybe Sony will update the firmware in which case I'll buy one. My current solution for Amazon Music HD is the hiby r6 pro.

when i’m connecting my zx507 to the mojo, using streaming apps - tidal, deezer apple music - the mojo always shows the color green which is 96khz, tried a reset of both walkman and mojo and still the same, i wonder what’s up with that...

^but apple music sir also shows in green (96khz) which is weird since i’m sure its only at 48khz... i figured it might be a chord mojo issue, but my iphone (running apple music) always show the correct one 48khz (red)...

On a different topic, been using the zx507 connected to the ifi zen blue (bluetooth) using ldac and listening on my marantz stereo receiver connected to my wharfedale speakers and the result is superb, it is very close to wired definitely in terms of sq, at least on my gears, very happy with the result. bluetooth connection is very solid/stable too
