New Skullcandy Crushers.

I just saw the new crushers and they look sweet. How do they compare with the hesh 2 and is the battery mandatory or can I use it without a battery?

The new crushers are meant to be better because its uses separate drivers for the bass and a new better portable design. The battery is required to power the internal amp, without the battery i am certain that the headphones would still work, but wouldn't be so loud.

But one should be able to use his own amps anyway. (their target customer very likely not though)
