I am looking for a new set of earbuds that sound great & are comfortable.  I currently own the monoprice 8320.  They sound great but the wiring is starting to come apart from constantly being tangled..Is there anything that is close to these in price, sound, ect?  Another set Im looking into is the MEElectronics M9P In-Ear 3.5mm Headphone ??

Well, you honestly don't have a lot of options at the 8320's price point. The're what-$8? For budget durability, I would go with something from the A-Jays line-the lowest one, the A-Jays One, are around 30 or 40 bucks. You can get them new on eBay for cheaper. They will be a marked increase in SQ, and are really, really durable.

how do they compare to the monoprice?  Like I said I enjoy the mono price but the cords are constantly going to get messed up no matter how many new pairs i buy lol

I've had my MDR-E818 for almost 2 years. They've been tangled etc. Even played around with and still work fine so that shouldn't be a problem.

I have been considering picking some of these up to try and learn how to replace cables, putting on new cables might be the way to go for you.

Maybe so but Ive never seen anyone do it yet...Would be great bc so far thats the only flaw for me...I enjoy the sound, & they actually fit more snug then other earbuds.  Most other earbuds slide out while running ect.  I like the wiring of the Jays & dre ones it seems to be the better way to go as far as wire management & tangling.   Read a view reviews on these http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003ELYQGG/ref=asc_df_B003ELYQGG2324843?smid=A286W3T3CZL3TB&linkCode=asn&creative=395105&creativeASIN=B003ELYQGG&tag=cnet_mp-3161-20
And these are currently on sale:  http://www.amazon.com/MEElectronics-Headphone-Control-Blackberry-Microphone/dp/B0038W0K20/ref=sr_1_8?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1356725577&sr=1-8&keywords=mee
And also these strange ones made of wood lol http://www.amazon.com/MEElectronics-CW31-Wooden-Headphones-Players/dp/B004OBZ2X6/ref=sr_1_10?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1356725577&sr=1-10&keywords=mee

Yeah, flat cables are really nice. Tend to avoid tangling and be harder to break off/fray at the IEM or plug end. I've never seen such cables available just to purchase to add to headphones though. If anyone has, please chime in.

Is there a such thing as wireless buds?  Not bluetooth but totally wireless?  Id think someone made them by now...W

Um. Bluetooth doesn't have wires. No matter what, live streaming wireless will usually suck. Unless they come up with an insanely fast wireless transfer, that can have checksums like a digital cable. And then, you would need a DAC in the headphones. But their are some earbuds that are Bluetooth and don't even have wires connecting them.

Anyone tried any of the above out?  Would like to get a mic with the earbuds...or even if its possible to find a cheap way to pair a mic up with the monoprice?

Also anyone heard these: seem to have a huge user review list over 2k...http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000IG66VS/ref=cm_cr_asin_lnk
