Just noticed JDS Labs has posted a pic on Facebook regarding their latest portable amp C5!
 
Not much info is available except that "it's a tremendous upgrade over c421. Channel balance is now audibly perfect at all volumes. It measures and sounds great as well".
 
Preorders will be available as soon as production reaches 80% (less than 2 weeks), according to JDS Labs

I'm being told now,that the i-phne will not have enough juice to power these things properly.

New to Portable amps...so,
 
Can you guys suggest a decent portable amp,small,yet powerful for these IEM's?
I was looking at the Fiio E-11
 
THis new model from JDS,looks great.
 
Any suggestions will be appreciated

Probably not significantly more since JDS Labs' pricing has always been budget conscious. I guess it will be similar to the C421!

I hope so. I've been itching to order an O2 since I just got the ODAC, but the better portability seems worth waiting to see how the C5 prices out.
