New pair of JH16pro. sound is not as good as what i expected.

I waited about two month but i received a big disappointment.
my source is iPad classic + SR71A and apogee duet 2.
 
voice sounds very high (grating) and the bass is almost too much to hear other frequency.. to be honest, i feel like its worse than my UE TF10. no need to compare to my other big headphones.
 
i guess the only thing I'm happy with is that JH did a great job on the artwork that i chose. 
 
hopefully after a month of listening, it will sound better.

I found my JH16's to sound great right away.
 
Regarding the bass, I don't see how that surprises you. I mean, they're often described as very bassy and thats the reason there's both the JH13 and the JH16 at somewhat the same price tag.
 
Not sure about the voices sounding "high" though.

sorry for my bad english. by sounding high i meant the voice is not smooth or exquisite enough i guess?

The JH16 can be somewhat bright and harsh, however, I've never found it bothering nor fatiguing to be honest. 
 
I do remember some people in the JH16 appreciation thread talking about sibilance and such. Maybe you have the same issue?
