I gonna be going to colleg and need a good set of cans for listening music
i listen to most of them nothing in particular...not a basshead
I was leaning towards m50
any other suggestions are most welcome
budget is around 200$

I'm going to guess that you need closed cans. Well, SRH840 and HM5 is a solid option. I personally like 840 much more then m50. M50 is bit overhyped imo.

M50 is over hyped. SoundMAGIC HP100 or Shure SRH840 would be better

ATH WS99 is definitely an upgrade to the m50.
