LOL I never posted a new thread before
 
So I only saw one thread about meze hps but they were the old model (88), which seems to be copy of the Esmooth OEM/ODM, with some problems...

Anyone heard them? Apperently Jude had a listen, without telling us

Oh my they look stunning.

Then again, their Deco earphones did too and they sounded quite terrible for the price - especially in the bass regions there was just waaaaaay too much and of a bad quality
 
These 99 classics will have some very tough opponents in this price class. I mean this is getting close to B&W P7 territory, and it's priced above the philips x2 - though they are open backs.
 
Also, the website says "(...) soft PU leather are the materials your hands and eyes will get to enjoy. No plastic here for you to see." In my book though polyurethane (PU) is still a plastic

 
I'll hold my horses for now though; has anyone heard them?
