Mine arrived today, about a week earlier than I expected.

Initial impression: the expected terrific-quality recording of the expected mix of original songs and standards. So far the album it reminds me of most is Cafe Blue, though I couldn't really say why.

It usually takes me a few listens to fall fully in love with a Patricia Barber album, so I'll leave it at that for now, but I'm definitely enjoying it a lot.
