I just ordered a Dell XPS M1330 it comes with an integrated HD audio 2.0 card. Here is where I need help, It comes with an HDMI out for video and HD stuff so I can watch HD movies so I need a good sound card and amp. I was thinking of the Expresscard X-Fi but is that good enough? Basically what is the best reasonably priced setup for my new laptop that is semi-portable. I will keep it on the dock most of the time so portability isnt too important. I want my music to sound great and clear, plus movies to have punch and bass. So should I get the expresscard X-Fi for movies/games, and then what for music? I listen to classical , classic rock, and rap.
Until I can find a pair of HD595 Anniv Red Cans (please help me find if you can reading this) I think I will get a pair of the Sennheiser PXC450's.
How does the Corda Move do for my music type and headphone choice?
Thanks,
Evan
