So here's a fun new headphone from Koss. It looks like a price point competitor to Beats headphones. The 42i includes a mic and two jacks to allow daisy chaining from a sound source. 
 
I don't know how good this headphone will sound with closed back, but it's nice esthetically, has a couple cool features, and at least is new product. I don't know what drivers are included. Details to come!

These actually look really good for on the go. I'm always on the plane taking our bi-yearly vacation and split 1 earphone from my KSC-35, one for me, one for her. It works in a pinch but this is much better without resorting to carrying a splitter around. The mic and remote are excellent to add in at this point. I also think it's smart to move to removable plugs on everything now too, I'm guessing Koss will start selling replacement cabling for Lightning ports.
 
Being closed I have my doubts if they're going to sound as good as a PortaPro, but doesn't have to. Decent looking too. I ordered 1 in black.

Curious how it sounds. I have a UR55 on my head right now, a KTXPRO1 on the headphone stand, and used to have the KSC75 and UR40 as well. Koss are the kings of value.
