Kimber makes good products, but some can be a little pricey... I'd bet it is good.

When HeadRoom sent me the loaner Traveler bag with the Cosmic it had this new Kimber cable. It looked very well made, with a metal miniplug made by Switchcraft and nice looking RCA plugs. One nice thing about this verses molded plugs is that you can repair them if they do go bad. I didn't notice a big diffence sonically using the Cosmic and Panasonic 470 between the Kimber and the StraightWire cable that HeadRoom used to provide. But if I needed to buy this type of cable I would be tempted to spend the extra for the Kimber.

I would not use this cable for portable use, as the miniplug is not L-shaped. I talked with Todd a few months ago when this first came out over whether to get the kimber or the straightwire. He said to go with the straightwire.
