Hmm those pics above actually make the green look a lot nice than I'd imagine it to be. Silver isn't bad too

It is thinner, but only slightly. It's just barely thinner than the dock connector on the USB cable.

It should be noted if people were following the announcement thread, the packaging is 52% smaller which was incorrectly noted on the live "chat" feeds as the nano itself was 52% smaller. The MacRumors, etc. feeds corrected themselves after a few minutes. The video shows the packaging was clearly being discussed.
