Not sure how many here are into the works of Tolkien, but I am a absolutely a fan.

There is a new film out there being made totally non-profit dealing with Aragorns search for Gollum. The quality in the trailers so far looks beautiful. It will be free to download on May 3rd. So here is the link to the site with trailers and other neat stuff.

It looks very cool. My only gripe is the ADR sounds like it was recorded on an SM58 in a bedroom.

Some of the the Silmarillion, especially the tale of Beren and Lúthien would make excellent flicks. Most film dialogue is like the strings in a puppet show for me, I can hear the room, effects, proximity and type of mic used. So I'm not hating these guys at all.
