We decided to start a new thread because we are changing dates to Sunday, June 12th. Here we go!

First order of business: Head count - Let us know if you think you will make it.

Second item on the agenda: Even though we are having a Raleigh meet a month earlier (May 14) do folks want to make this a general meet as well as a Headroom demo? I vote Yes since I will miss the May meet and want an opportunity to audition additional gear.

Other agenda items?

Sure that is fine. Because my house is on the market I would like to suggest we have the meeting at my office instead of at my house. I have a big training room there with plenty of tables that will be very ideal for setting up plenty of setups. I will post invites on some other local forums to see if we can make this a great meet.

Thanks, Drew, for getting the thread going. It's so cool that I'll be able to visit the Carolinas. I think I've only ever just passed through. When I was a little kid we traveled south once; I remember Moon Pies and RC Cola. Looking forward to the visit to get a fresh impression.

Cheers!

Count me in, I am a low-volume poster but long time lurker with a few pieces of Headroom gear. Would love to see and hear some of the new stuff!

Hey Drew how about we get some North Carolina 'que brought in to go with those Moon Pies??!!?? Would have to have some serious wipes to deal with Pig-Pickin' fingers before touching the gear!

Well, if Drew has a big training room, that'd probably be the best place to hold this meet. As for general vs Headroom-specific, I kinda assumed it was always going to be a general meet w/ the star attraction being Headroom, shouldn't be any problems there.

I second the BBQ suggestion, somebody needs to bring some heaping platters of Smithfield's BBQ, coleslaw, and jugs of their sweet tea!

I don't suppose anyone else is wanting to travel from as far away as I am. It can't hurt to ask: is there anyone who will be attending and driving from the Asheville area? Since my own navigation skills are still fledgling, I would appreciate any offer in the way of a carpool.

Any word on the actual location yet. It would be nice to know before I head off. Though I have to say that the internet access at KOA Kampgrounds is darn good.

I am up for heathen headphone auditioning whatever time people want to meet. The earlier we meet the more time we will have to listen.

Should we be communicating about who is bringing what?

As I recall, there was some discussion about good barbeque in the area. Is this still on the table? [sorry]
