I currently have some Shure E3c with custom ear molds. While very nice they're just not to my liking anymore. These are used for airplane travel only and that setup is MacBook Air (JRiver) > iFi Micro iDSD.
Can you guys give me some recommendations that would be in the $500 range excluding ear molds? I'd love to have something as close to my MrSpeakers Alpha Dog if possible. If takes more dough, I suppose I'm game.
