Which potentiometer  used in HLLY  SMK-III for volume control ?
 
How is power for OpAmp - can I replace in future op275 to opa2132 / lm4562 / ad8066  (low-voltage)   ?

Now I think about new DAC, Zero 09, MAtrix mini-i or HLLY SMK-III .

But I want good headphone amp + good volume control, Alps or good chip such as pga2311/cs3310.

How you install it to SMK- III   ?  Works normally ?

Dear mmx3, LM4562  is ok to replace the OP275 , and also we recommend OPA2604 or AD823..
about the potentiometer , we recommend the ALPS 27 type to replace the current one, it will be better!

      Yes, has internal clock for 44.1K hz, no re-clock!

pcm1792a as default works  (delta-sigma) with 64 Fs  oversampling (for 88/96 kHz  mode)
Is SMK-III   switched to 128 Fs , when input signal has 44.1/48 kHz  sample rate ?
