Is this a change just for the 5G iPod? I've got a 4G 20gb, when I upgraded to iTunes 7 it took forever to "Determine gapless playback info" or something on all the songs on my iPod, but it's definitely not gapless. I got excited when I heard about this change

Gapless =

5.5g

or

5g+v1.2 firmware.

Yah, only the 5G support this feature. That is why I ordered a refurb 5G ipod lately.

The 5G (w 1.2 firmware), the 5.5 G and of course the nano v2
