Has anyone compared the Weiss 204 to the LTA aero or harmony dac? I heard from a dealer who deals with Weiss and LTA. That the LTA is a better Dac. Has a richer more musical sound.

Was the dealer comparing a Weiss with an upgraded power supply? If not, the comparison is not reverent. The 204 will continue to scale up if you keep improving the power supply. No I would not call it a warm DAC, but if the recording is warm, it will reproduced as such. Be careful adding a warm sounding DAC to your system unless your system’s presentation already slightly leans towards the analytical side.
