I just found and installed a foobar2000 app on android that allows you to control basic functions through your phone essentially making it a remote. It took some help from the dev to get it working since I'm using Win7, but once up and running it's a great little app. The dev also points out that he's working on some nice new features for an update. The app is called 'foobar 2000 control' and is easily found in the app store.

Here's the instructions I needed to get it running on Win7:

1. Install foo-control server (http://code.google.com/p/foo-controlserver/)
-the link will lead to a .zip file, extract it and paste the foo_controlserver.dll found in the bin directory to the components directory of foobar. Then paste the src directory to the main foobar2000 directory

2. enable telnet using the instruction from this link (http://www.blogsdna.com/4052/how-to-install-microsoft-telnet-client-on-windows-7.htm)

3. install the app on your android device

4. find your IP address by typing 'ipconfig' into command prompt or run

5. type that IP in the upper left box when the app is started on your android device

- that's it, just make sure android is running on your pc
