When you click from one track to the other in a playlist (or Winamp goes from one track to the other while it is playing the loaded playlist), there is an audible, intentional computer mouse-click sound! CLICK. Does anyone know how to turn it off? I could find nothing in preferences. Does WinAmp really think an audible mouse click is going to enhance peoples' listening pleasure?

It's probably just playing whatever windows sounds are happening while you're using Winamp. Check in your control panel under Sounds and Audio Settings and see if you have a sound set for the "Select" event. If you do, turn it off.

Thanks--I will give it a try. Not all my mouse clicks are accompanied with that audible "click", so it's a bit of a mystery . . .

Windows doesn't consider every click to be a "select" action, so that makes sense. Did it work?
