I received a pair of ER4Ps today and they are the "Nuts".  I am currently listening through an old Cowon D2+ and these phones are just wonderful.  The sound.throughout the range is beautiful.  I had reservations about IEMs because I've never had a pair that fit well and did not fall out.  The ER4s, however, fit snugly and comfortably using the tips that were mounted when received.  I also want to point out that, if one cannot get a good, comfortable fit with the tips supplied, Etymotics has a CIEM option whereby, you get your earmolds made, and send them to ETY.  They then form a custom silicone tip for your ears.  You use this tip with your existing earphones.  A nice option IMO.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Willieboy, a warm welcome to another satisfied ER4 user, like you I've been a happy owner of the ER4PT. If you're using the ER4P then get the 75ohm resistor adapter that turns your ER4P to ER4S and you'll notice a better extended high frequency. As for the custom ear tips, there's been a lot of mix results from many users. Here's a link to Rin's review of the custom ear tips.

PS: No, I don't work for Etymotics, just another happy user like you.

@Willieboy: I have had my ER4s for about 10 years and love the sound. Even more so with my newly acquired FiiO E12 amp and X3 source. I did find them a bit uncomfortable for extended wear and got the custom molds. I have a pair of HF3s for listening direct from iPhone and can also recommend them highly. Cheers... Brian
