I made an in-depth written review about the HUD100 MK2. They got it right, guys! I like it now, good driving power, excellent overall unit :)

Great job to the guys at @radsone :)

Hey I posted a comment on your blog/review but you have not made it public nor answered it.

You indicate the MK2 version is better than the MK1 version technically - sound and power. However Radsone indicates the only difference is the accessories - cable, case, etc.

Do you have a reference you can cite? Please provide links to documentation that corroborates you review.

What is different technically? Has Radsone changed the hardware? I've come to enjoy the original and like it.

Hiii

Yep, much better driving power, can handle sundara and He400i now, so also most full sized headphones. Also draws more power from my phone.

Not sure why they didn't update their technical info. More reviewers noted this AFAIK :)

To be honest I originally felt it was overpriced for what it offered (orig $179) - plenty of other dongles (bluetooth) that offered more functionality for less cost. Now that the price point has dropped considerably I find its' value has increased. I use this as my desktop DAC/AMP on a regular basis - like the sound and form factor.

Does anyone have a problem with HUD100 being too loud ? I am connected to Macbook Air M1 , and I turn the volume only a bit , maybe 2 bars and its enough , isn't it too low ?
