Hey all i recently got some e2c's...they seem to sound quite good and all and i am quite happy with them, but i would like to know if i can get more out of them.

I am currently trying out the silicon sleeves and have given the foamies a bit of a go.

Basically if i have inserted them correctly, should i be able to hear myself clicking with the music off? what about with the music on?

Also with the music off i can hear say someone talking to me through the headphones if they are within about 5 feet.

Just wondering if this is normal, if not then i'll have to keep working on the isolation

Maybe do the ex71 mod or something.

Thanks guys,

^bump

By the way, i think a while ago i saw some diagram someone made (on these boards) of how to insert them, it was better than that provided by shure. I THINK so, maybe someone knows what i'm on about or something

the stock rubber tips on the E2Cs are terriable IMO. they are not flexiable enough to form a ncie seal, and they hurt like hell. my ear canal warps more than the tips when i use them.

the super soft flex tips are the way to go, or foamies are great too.
