Donald Fagen of Steely Dan Fame is releasing his third solo album in March called Morph the Cat. I'm pretty excited. He also will be touring. Thought this might interest all you Dan Fans such as myself. I'm sure the audio quality of the album won't disappoint. Here's a link to the story at Rolling Stone.

Both his solo albums and pretty much all the Steely Dan albums are just 'fun' music. It's great!!

Thrillsville! -But I hope he takes a little more care with the lyrics composition than he did on Kamakiriad. The tunes are always masterful, but sometimes he seems to write the lyrics by numbers.

Damn, but The Nightfly is a classic -- a sweet equilibrium between insoucient optimism and rueful nostalgia. Everybody should learn design and do the frugg with Tuesday Wells outside yer Daddy's bomb shelter.
