First you gotta get the westone star tips. Then you have to cut the nozzle of the tip by HALF. Then insert it to the sd2. You can adjust the tip by your ear's liking.
 
No sugru or anything like that. Just a little scrissor and westone star tips are all you need.
 
I have purchased spinfits as well but they are still on their way..

yup. I had the sd4 for review for two weeks. Very immersive and organic compared to the more distant sounding sd2. Not enough bass for me though. ordered the Sony xba z5. But I'll have a review up soonish

Tried the SD4 for about 14 days.
Usual great fit and quality. Had hoped for a 'better' version of the SD3 in as much as more differentiated bass and mids and a more developed top. For my ears they succeeded with the bass/mids mix but the top was just too much. It was all a bit cold and analytical and lacked a bit of umph. If I was a classical music lover I think it would have been a keeper.

Check for blockage of the nozzles and check polarity of the cables.  Also try another source if you have one.
