Chord Hugo Black Leather Case

NEW $169 Chord Hugo Leather Case

Available in two colors: Black and Natural Tan

The Hugo has quickly established itself as the definitive DAC/headphone amplifier for both home and mobile use.

Chord Electronics now provides a way to protect the Hugo and house a digital audio player or cell phone

The design of the Chord Hugo Leather Case is available in an exquisite black leather or natural tan.

The Hugo Leather Case is made from very high-quality durable leather and has been designed to allow full access to Hug's controls, in/outputs and LED indicators.

Full provision has been made for source components, too: the Hugo Leather Case uses a quad system of durable elasticated webbing straps with tough Velcro terminations, to securely hold phones and digital audio players to the case. The clever design allows direct access to touchscreens and controls, and offers several fastening options, giving users real flexibility over how partnering equipment is secured.

A tough thumb-loop at the top of the case provides a secondary element of security when the Hugo is hand-held, and Velcro-tipped leather latches at each end of the case provide both protection and (at the input end), a useful cavity to store small connection leads.

Thank You.

I've had this case 2 days, and it is excellent.  The advantage of having something that will hold, in this case the iPhone securely, give me total access to functions, minus a bit of maneuvering around the straps, to get to some of the initial set-up of the iPhone 6, is pretty astonishing, considering all the fragile manipulation with bands in the past.  I thought originally the thumb loop would be not that great, but it is really nice.  Very stiff leather, allows maneuvering of the whole unit quickly, easily and SECURELY.  I think having function access is number one reason why this is worth it, and a co-reason or 1a, is securely holding the very expensive DAC and iPhone. The ridges and stiffness of the case, allow a nice band free, natural looping of the CCK and the Moon Audio Silver Dragon USB A to mini cable, without putting awkward pressure on the cables or the lightning or Hugo inputs.  The large input stiff strap acts like a stabilizer, cable routing function.  Who would have thought that something so simple would be so expensive, and with No moving parts, have so much functionality, as the Hugo case.  I ordered this while overseas 2 weeks ago from the UK; USA availability is imminent.  By the way, it wasn't one penny cheaper, maybe a few more, considering the exchg rate.

Hi,

I saw you had the CHORD HUGO... I am actually waiting for the product to arrive, but I want to buy some cables for it before it gets here.

What is the input cable jack type for the HUGO for the HD USB??

Also, I will be using a ROCKBOXED iPod classic AND a RWAK 120 S...

Please give me some suggestions on cables to use...

Thanks!

Both USB inputs are Micro B USB connectors. The iPod Classic you cant use as the Hugo does not have an Apple Authenticity chip to tell the iPod to output digital. With the Ipod Touch/iPhone/iPad you can use a Camera Connection Kit and a USB cable. But the iPod Classic you can not unfortunetely, sorry. For the RWAK120 if you still have the Toslink output option then you can use our Silver Dragon Toslink cable. We have an 8.5" cable length that works perfect with the Hugo Case: http://www.moon-audio.com/silver-dragon-toslink-digital-cable.html
