Just got it today. Just now, half way through my first listen, I had to stop and catch my breath, and make sure my brain wasn't completely melted yet.
Holy hallucinations, Batman! These guys are absolute geniuses in the studio, and they obviously know a lot about recording, mixing and producing. Unlike most of their contemporaries in the genre, this is not like doing math, nor is it completely juvenile, and their songs are over in less than 5 minutes
These songs are just loaded with ideas; no mind numbing repretition here. There are real hooks and melodies and songs in there, as well. They use a lot of really cool guest vocalists. I don't like much electronica, but I sure dig this and the last one Surrender.
If you call yourself a headphone lover, get a copy. CDs like this are what headphones are best at. Absolutely unreal.
