Well I'm having a hard time deciding where to go from here. The headphone amps on my Lavry DA10 and RSA SR-71 are definately impressive...but I've always wanted to get into the world of tube amps. To be honest, I've never owned...heck, I've never even heard a tube amp...but I love the idea.
I also recently got rid of all my other cans (Senn 650, Grado HF-1) and now have the Beyer DT 990 on order.
So now...with some benjamin's burning a hole in my pocket...what route would you go? And yes, yes, I know...it's personal preference...but that's why I'm asking. What would you do from here?
Would you pick up a pair of RS-1 or 2's, maybe the AKG 701's, or SA5000? Or would you get a tube amp...possibly a stock Singlepower MPX-3 bare bones or (ideas?)?
