As I was reading another thread, a member mentioned an early BE CD that I was all too familiar with. Actually I had it on vinyl then bought it on CD in the early 90's. It was Taking Tiger Mountain.

I just checked CD Universe and they have under future releases all the essential BE early work and I was wondering if someone can give more information about these re-releases.

These are the CD's I'm interested in.

Here Comes The Warm Jets
Taking Tiger Mountain
Ambient 1 Music for Airports

Originally it was announced they were doing SACD hybrids

But the latest info I've seen implied they will initially be only released as CD, so guess we'll have to wait and see if they decide to do SACD too

Thanks a bunch, Davey. I will have to research further and cross my fingers that these first re-releases will be HDCD at least. I'm not a SACD fan so it's really not that important.
