No, actually. They are not available in the USA currently.

Beg your pardon, but not true, actually. I PM'd cwuzer up there because I'm not sure of forum rules about mentioning too many supplier details, but BandH Photo has them in stock in NYC.

Doesn't Headroom have them now?

EDIT: Nope, they only have the new 880's. Oops

Are you sure? Not according to their website...but would be cool if true. You can get them from lots of places in Germany, but the above possibility aside, none that I know of in the US.

In my experience, B&H Photo won't even let you navigate to an item that is not in stock. Their website lists them, and specifically states that they are in stock. B&H is from the old school of grey-market importing and seem to be continuing in the great tradition of the old 47th Street Photo. Beyer-USA may not have anything to do with it.

I am getting my DT880s from that dealer. They shipped them fast. Should have them by Thursday.

The 770s they carry are the 250 Ohm version. No idea if that is the new one or not.

Which are better? Or are they basically the same with the 250 requiring an amp? I should be good with a GS-1 right?
