Very little - from the brief audition..

The 600 sounded a little more refined, a little more natural maybe - but, certainly not that big a difference - not to my ears...

Bangraman might want to jump in here though, seeing that he was so impressed that he's gonna go out and buy a pair when they come onto the market

The DTX series have obvious weak points on them but the build quality is finished well. I don't think they're as poor as the HD497 which to me just feel cheap, but they aren't as well built as Beyers flagship models.
I wouldn't say they're flimsy, but they sound better than they're built - which is fine with me as it keeps the price down without compromising the most important thing

The sound of the DTX series was certainly good enough for budget cans. Although I knew the music, and the source seemed like a good one, the audition was let down slightly by probably a dodgy amping. I think that the DTX880 will undoubtedly be the most popular, due to it's aimed market and also the price... and by the fact that it is quite good. The phone does swivel flat but it doesn't fold. My feeling is that it looks simultaneously quite smart yet a bit goofy but some would disagree I'm sure. It sounds far more closed than the vents on the side would have you think. Comfortable? I think so. I have to say they were a bit rattly on handling, not the usual Beyer one-piece like feeling. That said, they aren't exactly fall-apart phones.

The RSX I was impressed by. I've had wireless phones before but this was one of the first for me to be able to say competed favourably with budget cabled models, even from the brief audition and the source I didn't know, as well as (bleah) Madonna with La Isla Bonita. Give me Alizée's version any day... ahh... Alizée... eh? where was I? Oh yes, wireless headphones. Yes, I'll buy one for HT use and maybe post a review.
