Hi everyone.
I've been looking to upgrade my headphones for a while now, and I decided on getting the mad dogs paired with a headamp pico amp/dac. Now that the new balanced mad dogs are out, I'm kind of confused about what I should get.
What do the balanced headphones do differently, and what does a balanced amp like the rsa intruder do differently? Is buying the balanced mad dogs with the intruder worth the $300 price increase from the regular mad dogs with a pico?
I would really appreciate any help I could get on this subject, even if it's just a link to somewhere where I could read more on this. I haven't been able to find much information on the topic. Thanks in advance.
