They have also improved the connection system to match that of the Audeze LCD-3.​

Beauty as they say is in the eye of the beholder.  Personally I do not like this manufactured/engineered/laminated look.  In my opinion they look like an inexpensive engineered veneer product.  The price for used original wood LCD 2s has just gone up.

Actually, it looks much worse than before. It's probably cheaper too ... that's what it counts.

The reason for the change is sourcing issues. The rosewood has become an issue with getting in a timely manner. It has caused all kinds of back order issues. I have not seen it in person yet, but I like the way it looks from the pics. I'm sure all kinds of controversy will be generated from this. It never fails I do like the new connection system better however.

When are these LCD2 LB actually going to be in stock, it always seems to be just a few days. Has Alex from Audeze given any real details to shipment?

sorry for any inconvenient i might've caused, i didn't notice, the weird thing is that i signed up on your website week ago and i'm placing the order today, 3-day shipping. i hope your shipping is not like amazon, 3-day shipping means 5-6 days.

We have headphones coming in today and more next week. Today's shipment is all spoken for. So yours will ship with the next shipment. There has been a delay receiving units due to the change to this new Bamboo cup. Thus no it will not arrive in 3 days. You will find all dealers are in the same boat. We have all been waiting patiently for stock. But it should be smooth sailing soon Orders can be placed HERE
