Hey guys,
 
I own the white box ATH-M50s (with straight cable.) I am just wondering if there are any difference between the white boxed M50 and blue boxed M50s. Which one is better?

Supposedly the older versions had more bloated bass and less treble.
I had both and this definitely seems like the case. The newer version had much better mids IMO.
Now, I never had both at the same time. The differences are very, very minor.
 
I was actually surprised how much better the white boxed version was!
I don't think it's worth the higher price though.
