Interesting Design, long over due revamp. Hopefully Apple took it upon themselves to give the world better sound, and took the opportunity to keep up with the headphone awareness phenomenon that is changing portable sound.

Fostex OEM again? I'm not entirely sure why apple bother, anyone I know with ibuds just turns their 128kbs music up as high as possible.

I think the are comparing to the beats, seeing as the Solo's graph was only marginally better then the iBuds so the might actually have a point

That sentence really means nothing. I could say 'the PortaPros are so superior, [<- note comma] they rival the Stax SR-009' and I wouldn't be incorrect.

I'm calling BS on this claim. 

Okay, it looks like they are dual bore, but I'm not sure if they are dual driver. Also, without a seal, balanced armature drivers don't quite seem plausible...

Could these be dual dynamic drivers?

the main problem with the old ones were instrument seperation and bass, i wounder if they have fixed that
