I have just registered and need some some good advice. Let me start off by saying I have been interested in getting some good sounding phones since I took a listen through a friend of mines beats by dr. dre. I was amazed headphones could sound so good, I have been reading some on this forum and there just seems to be some much info on every topic, so I come to ask for some individualized help. I am looking for a set of phones that are decently priced ($200ish), cover the whole ear, and hopefully not requiering an amp (though if a good pair seem too good to pass up but need an amp I may spring for one). as well as give a description on there characteristic sound. thanks for the help.
