The is my 1000st post on Head-Fi. so I will like to take the chance to share one interested new amp project with all head-fi'er.

1, This new amp is just an idea and without any design picture, we just working on the possibility of it. and we may collect all the feedback from our end -user. so it will more like a common work with all head-fi‘er.

2, We may ask Head-Fi to allow us make special edition with Head-Fi's LOGO and sell directly to head-fi's member only.

3, This new amp is not for business, so the quantity will be limited. but it does not means it will be cheap, because we can need to cover the cost of R/D by maybe only 1,000 pcs. of course, I am  not sure how many

    will be reasonable.

4, We may help the customer print anything they love on the case of the amp. it means you can have your personable amp which is the only amp in the world.

OK, below is something we will like to try

1, This amp is powered by 6 AAA battery. but you can buy some 3.7V AAA li-ion battery. so the supply voltage will be up to +/- 12V.  and still  keep the thickness of the amp, maybe not more than

    18mm.

2, The OP is replaceable, so you can try different OP and Buf, so it will be an amp which you can DIY your sound.

3, The volume is still Alps potentiometer,

4, Maybe there are space to install some famous capacitor for audio only.

I will post the detail of this amp when every we have any news about it. so the whole process is open to our customer, at the same time, everyone can join this project and everyone who give us a good

idea, may have the chance to get a free unit as reward.

Definitely diggin' it, subscribed.

Would love to have digital volume for IEMs, but definitely wouldn't be a deal breaker to have an ALPS pot.

Don't worry, you can change the gain by yourself . I means , this amp will be simple but the SQ will be very good. and we will love anyone who have this amp can make it as the only one which suitable for himself.

an IEM can be solve by a gain switcher, or even you can change the gain by change the resistor by yourself.

digital volume will be too complex to DIY'er

Personally I think it would be great to have tone controls on amps. Kind of like the EQ-feature, except more of a control .. maybe with a potentiometer?

No to EQ! just make a flat sounding amp

YES to a balance control

and it must sound better than my Graham Slee Voyager!
