I got an email today from Mr. Chen on this amp. I can get it at an introductory price of $335. Don't know if I'll jump on it or not.

335 for a tube amp and a dac and a dancing magic eye? plus, the fact that i heard the Dared Monoblock and those ruled - i say it's a safe bet to take one for the team. let us know what you think, archosman!

What would I need to use this with my G4 laptop? I'm not sure how I would tell the Mac to send a audio signal through the USB cable.

Plug it in. Enjoy the music. Seriously it should be that straightforward - it's vaguely possible you'll need to point your sound device or media player to using it but at least on a PC the USB DAC should take over as soon as it is plugged in and recognized.

So, what is the deal with the ME tubes? Do they just look pretty or are they also functioning tubes?
