I got an email today from Mr. Chen on this amp. I can get it at an introductory price of $335. Don't know if I'll jump on it or not.

BTW that particular Magic Eye looks like the type that does this-

For that price it seems like a no brainer! I don't think there is even a decent low end SS amp/DAC available at that price (the intro one). Plus it's got the trippy Magic Eye

What would I need to use this with my G4 laptop? I'm not sure how I would tell the Mac to send a audio signal through the USB cable.

Plug it in. Enjoy the music. Seriously it should be that straightforward - it's vaguely possible you'll need to point your sound device or media player to using it but at least on a PC the USB DAC should take over as soon as it is plugged in and recognized.

So, what is the deal with the ME tubes? Do they just look pretty or are they also functioning tubes?
