I'm a student that has much more time than money and I'm interested in building my own amp. I have a set of HD-580s, and the general census is that tubes are better for these. I have built tons of computers, but never any electronics. I'm looking for an amp with the quality of the MG Head. What do you think the final cost of something like this would be. Ballpark figure here, I just need a price to compare other options. Finally, is this something that I could do with my experience, and if so, what design should I use. Thanks
