sweet... I no longer have to hunt for the special edition chrome px200 as a backup portable headphone... now I can just get one of those K 26 P's... any idea if either of them is closed?

Edit: I think I might buy two of them for stocking stuffers for the wife and I

Edit2: Check out the Hi-Res pictures!

Seems a bit large. It's also says "Available only in Germany and Austria!"

It's kind of amusing if you compare the A-T and AKG designs.
A-T is "style," while AKG is a "desperate attempt at style."

I dont know about that... I actually think the closed AKG is quite nice looking.

And here are the specs that terrymx mentioned.

I saw those cans a week or so ago when I visited the AKG web site. They are obviously knockoffs of the PX100 and PX200 but IMHO, they look a little better. I'd be quite curious as to how they would sound. If they are for Germany and Austria only then maybe Jan Meier will carry them.

Woooo. Could be a replacement for my Porta Pros. Only available in Austria and Germany? Grrrrrrr.

Hey? What about a new K1000 replacement or new "King of AKG" headphones?

Sounds like someone needs to do a "foldable" head-to-head with all these.

Better yet... any Austrian Head-Fi'ers who can organize a group buy for these... or maybe Jan from Meier Audio can stock them?
