Hey Guys,

Well I just bought 3 new CD's and just finished importing them in Lossless Format.

CD's:

- Queen Greatest Hits Volume I & II

- Wolfmother

- Boston Original Hits Remastered


Everything sounds great but the only bummer is that on Bohemian Rhasphody for like 5 secs of the song starts to like flicker on some high notes. Oh well other than that the The whole Queen collection sounds great. And the other albums sound great to.

Does it do this if you play the CD itself also? If not then perhaps re-rip it.

Yea it does, I tried re-ripping it and it still does the same flickering. I guess I just got a bad copy. It sucks because all the other 33 songs sound great but its just that one that doesn't (sigh)

Try ripping it using itunes, I had a problem ripping with EAC one time that was fixed by trying to rip using itunes. Eh, it worked. Good luck. Cheers. Sincerely, Jesse Peters.

Interesting, I had the same problem when ripping a Coltrane album. Anyone know what causes a flac file to do this? Is it bit errors in the cd burner? Too fast burning? Bad diet? What?

Wolfmother is a great album.

I've found that ripping at a slower speed (e.g., 4x instead of 16x) usually fixes this type of problem. Give it a try and see if it doesn't work for you.
